This renovation was done in two phases. In the first phase we saved it from sinking into the earth and in places had to raise the foundation 16”. We also took out a wall between the kitchen and dining room and added doors to a third bedroom. The kitchen and only bathroom were fully gutted and renovated in this first phase. In the second phase we raised the roof in the back half of the house to fix the low ceilings. We took part of the third bedroom to make a hallway to a back main suite and added an en-suite bath with doors to the back yard and new deck. To the front we got rid of the wrought iron railings and added square columns and working shutters.
